This past year has been so difficult and stressful for all families and children with the application of the necessary health public measures to stop spreading COVID and has largely contributed to increase unfair social differences and disparities.
Children’s rights have been impeded and their development compromised.
Our social pediatrics centre has seen a significative increase of requests for services. Physical and mental health access for a lot of children is no longer insured, even more for immigrant families.
We all have the duty to offer quality services and cares because ALL children deserve it. They are essential to their development and health, no matter where they live or come from, whatever their social status.
