Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder. The autism spectrum is very broad, it can affect children differently, and to different degrees. Autism has a significant impact on communication and social interactions.

Autism can show up in different ways. It can look like: poor eye contact; difficulty understanding non-verbal communication and emotions; by repetitive interests, games or behaviour; or particular sensory sensitivities (noise, food, clothing, etc).

Every autistic person is unique!
