Verdun community pediatrics center

Our Community Social Pediatrics Center, a registered charity, helps children aged 0 to 14 living in the Verdun Borough, as well as their families.

Respect for children’s rights, working in partnership with families as well as with local organizations, the proximity of the services offered, and the development of each individual’s potential and strengths act as powerful levers for motivation and change.

Community social pediatrics as told by Suzanne Pelletier, social pediatrician

Social pediatrics in brief

Community social pediatrics is an innovative approach to integrative medicine that builds on the strengths of the child, family and community.

Its model aims to identify and reduce the sources and impacts of toxic stress in childhood. A team of caregivers allows children and their families to benefit from the expertise of medicine, social sciences and law in one warm and welcoming place.

Care for all children

The Guignolée des Petits Renards will take place from December 12 to January 12, 2021. This is the main donation campaign of our social pediatrics center which allows us to maintain and continue the development of our services. Our goal $ 50,000. To enable us to provide care to all children in the Great South West living in vulnerable situations, regardless of their immigration status.

Sing me a story

We all have memories of stories and music when we were children. These magical moments that awaken our creativity, our imagination, and to which we look back with a hint of nostalgia and a lot of emotion, whatever our age. Chante-moi une histoire is a project carried out with our partner Harmonie Richelieu in Verdun.

Défi Petits Renards - $45 692

Congratulations to Dr. Suzanne Pelletier and her loved ones. Greatly successful challenge for this first year! These donations will allow us to open our doors today, and for the year to come, to the most vulnerable children of the territory of the Greater South-West of Montreal, in particular Lasalle and Sud-Ouest (in addition to Verdun / île-des-Soeurs). THANK YOU TO ALL.
See you next year.
